Baking

For Ryan's Bday last year I made him some cupcakes. I took the photos in RAW formatting so I was never able to show off my skills until now... Yes it is a year latter, but just in time to remind myself of how awesome I am. I have not baked anything since except for cookies.

The thing about RAW photos is that they are great, but you need nice 'expensive' computer/programs to view and edit them. I have made this mistake before. When I took Ashley's senior photos, I did not check before hand and so none of those photos could be used. It was a shame because some were pretty good.

Ryan's 23rd Birthday is this Friday. I have no idea what to do for him so I might need up baking again... Its a fail safe.

Summer Photo

I do love the Palouse in the summer. However, it doesn't look like this any more. The green is something that comes quickly in June and leaves even quicker in July. It is all brown again, still sunny... but brown.

Today was the lintel festival. That marks an end to summer. Ryan and I were both so lucky to be in the parade this morning. Its amazing how many people can get crammed onto main street. It was fun.... And, I didn't even run anyone over in the Cartridge World car.

School start on Monday!

My little secret

I love cheesy romance novels.

Something about being torn between sex, death, and true love.

And Navy Seals.

Book Review

This book is long. But not long enough. I really enjoyed it. I think that I am into books that tell about other peoples way of life. It is fun to read about a life that I would never have.

Most books do not hold my interest, but I couldn't bring myself to put it down!

I watched the movie before I read the book, which helped me. I knew what to expect... Kind of. I think that Natalie Portman did a great job as Ann. She is very self centered. But, you can't really hold it against her. I am not a big fan of Scarlett Johansson, but she did a good enough job as Marry. I LOVED Marry in the book. I wonder if I would have liked her in real life? I also wonder which of the two I would have been more like. I like to assusme Marry... I would never be able to leave my children.

Book Review : 2 thumbs up
